Financial Literacy Webinar 2024 Semester I: Getting to Know Financing Companies Closer

Jakarta – On Saturday, June 22, 2024, PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia, in collaboration with Karya Technik Multifinance and SMFL Leasing Indonesia, conducted a Financial Literacy Webinar aimed at enhancing financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia.

This webinar was a form of company participation in compliance with Regulation POJK No. 03 of 2023 concerning Financial Literacy and Inclusion in the Financial Services Sector for Consumers and/or the Public. According to this regulation, every financial institution is required to conduct financial education activities at least twice a year.

The theme of this webinar was “Getting to Know Financing Companies Closer.” The webinar covered topics such as financial management planning, an introduction to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and financial service institutions, the mechanisms of financing companies, and the procedures for complaints related to SLIK, APU, and PPT.

The webinar was delivered by Mr. Dandy Kusuma as Corporate Secretary of MLCI, Mr. Gunawan as Compliance of KTM, and Mrs. Widya Kridawidyani as Legal and Compliance of SMFL.

This webinar was held via Zoom meeting and attended by 100 participants from various backgrounds, including MSME owners, employees, homemakers, and students. The entire audience greeted the event with high enthusiasm and eagerness.

Hopefully, with the conduct of this event, knowledge and understanding regarding financial companies can be spread even more among the public and bring a positive impact on advancing financial inclusion in Indonesia.
