MLCI's Iftar Ramadhan: Nurturing Honesty and Integrity in Every Step

Jakarta - With the aim of strengthening the relationship between employees, Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia (MLCI) held an Iftar event on March 22, 2024. During COVID-19, the event was always held online, but on this occasion MLCI finally held an offline Iftar event at Hotel Vertu Harmoni, Central Jakarta.

The theme of this event was "Nurturing Integrity and Honesty in Every Step" which underlined the importance of integrity and honesty in growing together in harmony during Ramadan. Hopefully, these two values are well embedded in the work environment and employee’s daily life.

This event was not just an ordinary Iftar series, but also filled with various meaningful and entertaining activities. It started with an opening by the MC and continued with games with prizes that added excitement of togetherness amongst employees.

The opening speech by Mr. Denny Dilham, as Executive Director of MLCI, was an important moment to deliver inspirational messages about the values of integrity and honesty.

"Every step we take, whether big or small, leaves an imprint on the journey of our lives. Integrity and honesty are not just values on the wall, but solid foundations that shape who we are. Let us together weave a story of honesty and integrity as the main foundation towards MLCI's sustainable success," said Denny Dilham.

This Iftar event was arranged with a very different nuance, opening with games that were very interesting and brought laughter. The event continued with a fashion show with an Arabian theme that showed the diversity and creativity of MLCI employees. Through this fashion show, there were 3 best costume winners who received attractive prizes from the Company.

As a refreshment in the month of Ramadan, this event also presented a tausyiah / lecture from Ustadz Abdurrahman Dasrul to provide a deep spiritual touch. At the time of Adhan, the event continued with breakfasting together by enjoying various dishes from Hotel Vertu Harmoni.

One of the highlights of the event was during the breakfasting, where the MLCI Board of Directors served food to MLCI employees through several food booths provided by the Hotel. This step aimed to create engaging interaction between the board of directors and employees, as well as strengthen interpersonal relationships in the work environment.

Furthermore, the event was closed with prize games that employee’s confidence to perform in front of the stage and sing. The atmosphere of joy and togetherness was even more intense with the active participation of all participants.

MLCI’s Iftar Event is not just a routine event, but a momentum to strengthen relationships between employees, mobilize the values of integrity and honesty, and increase the spirit of togetherness in taking every step in the company.
