Financial Literacy Webinar 2023 Semester II: Getting to Know Financing Companies Closer

Jakarta - PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia (MLCI) in collaboration with PT Karya Technik Multifinance (KTM) held a Financial Literacy Webinar on Saturday, November 25 2023. This webinar is part of the Company's contribution in Otoritas Jasa Keuangan’s (OJK) program to improve Financial Literacy and Inclusion in Indonesia.

This Financial Literacy Webinar is the continuance of the first semester of Financial Literacy Webinar that was held in June 2023.

Referring to POJK No. 03 of 2023 on Financial Inclusion and Literacy Enhancement in the Financial Services Sector for Consumers and the Public, each financial institution has an obligation to hold financial education activities at least 2 (two) times per year.

This webinar, themed Getting to Know Financing Companies Closer, aimed to assist participants in planning financial management by providing a comprehensive understanding of the business, systems, regulations, and benefits associated with financing companies. The material of this webinar was presented by Mr. Dandy Kusuma, Corporate Secretary Unit Head of MLCI, and Mr. Gunawan, Finance Manager of KTM.

Conducted online via Zoom Meeting, the webinar drew 81 participants, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) players, employees, housewives, and students. The participants actively engaged in discussions and Q&A sessions, fostering a collaborative and interactive atmosphere throughout the event. After the event, participants were invited to share feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality of MLCI’s Financial Literacy Webinars in the future.

Hopefully, this Financial Literacy Webinar can enhance participants' knowledge regarding financing companies. Therefore, the participants will be able to manage their finance in an integrated and well-planned manner.
